In 1960 the
Director of the Utah State Training School, in American Fork, Utah,
asked
for and received the disassembled Looff carousel for a new park at the
school
called "Fairyland."
Here the carousel ran until the mid 1970's when the carousel and
all its horses received a major overhaul and restoration.
In
1986, the carousel was bought for its horses. The carousel frame and
mechanism,
was later sold to Scott Harrison who took it down and moved it, piece
by
piece to his home in Colorado.
